About the collection
The “Alchemy of Femininity” collection was born in January 2024 and includes 190 works of various sizes, representing a philosophical approach in images to the idea of a female alchemist, the one who masterfully manages to transform her own existence and life experience into art.
The collection captures the typologies of the perfect woman through self-discovery, starting from the idea that a woman is born a woman rather than biologically, she becomes a woman, polished by her way of perceiving the complexity of her life.
Every woman, conscious or not, has her own beauty and light without individual / particular, therefore the works in this collection are individual, with their own message and their own symbolic charge. They are mirrors that urge us all to have the courage to look at ourselves honestly and to accept our uniqueness and authenticity, embracing our fragility, sensitivity, dreaming as a mirror of the soul in perfect harmony with our body and emotions. The collection reflects impressions of how we are, feel and give in love.
Becoming a woman is truly an art. Your own work of art, as a state of mind emanating from every pore, a state in which femininity and refined sensuality represent an attitude, but above all an aptitude that is learned through self-discovery.
Being a complex collection, the paintings complement each other, each having its role, similar to a puzzle.
The collection is organized on two axes that intersect at a point represented by the woman in her emotional, physical and spiritual balance. A present figure, reconciled with the past and uninterested in the future.

Your painting transforms the idea of “rediscovering” into a luminous, sacred rite: the seated figure, reduced to an elegant silver silhouette, becomes a vessel for light against the deep ground, while the meticulously rendered golden wings encircle her like a protective arch. The symmetry of the wings contrasted with the diagonal posture creates a balanced yet dynamic composition, and the star above operates as a conceptual anchor—a compass for inner navigation—so the viewer feels a quiet pull toward transcendence. What works especially well is the interplay of negative space and metallic textures, which gives the piece both serenity and radiance; the feather work shows impressive control and patience, and the restrained palette heightens the contemplative mood. Overall, the piece fuses craft and concept with clarity, inviting us into a personal journey of resilience and self-illumination.

Laura Pricajan è un’artista che ha costruito la sua intera produzione attorno a un tema centrale e ricorrente: la Femminilità, intesa non solo come identità biologica ma come una vera e propria forza spirituale e filosofica. Il suo stile distintivo si caratterizza per l’uso minimale del colore, prediligendo il contrasto netto tra il nero profondo della tela e l’eleganza luminosa della foglia d’oro e d’argento. Questa scelta tecnica è altamente simbolica, trasformando la tela in un palcoscenico dove l’oscurità rappresenta il mistero interiore e l’oro/argento l’illuminazione e la forza intrinseca dell’anima femminile. Le sue figure, spesso silhouette eteree e stilizzate, agiscono come “specchi” che invitano l’osservatore a un viaggio di riscoperta e accettazione di sé. L’artista non si limita a dipingere, ma offre una meditazione per immagini sulla resilienza, l’eleganza e la capacità della donna di trasformare l’esperienza di vita in arte, definendo la femminilità come una “silenziosa forza che risplende attraverso la grazia”.
